The Plinth is a stone drum, 40 cm wide and 48 cm high. It sits beside a sofa or an armchair and holds a lamp, a cup and a book.
We cut each table from one block of travertine and hollow out the inside, leaving walls 3 cm thick, which keeps the weight to 45 kg. The stone has natural bands and small holes, so no two tables look the same. We fill the holes with stone-coloured resin and sand the surface by hand.
Felt pads under the base protect wooden floors. The table is heavy enough to stay put if someone leans on it.
