The Ask is a light dining chair with a slim, curved back and a woven seat. It weighs 4.5 kg, so you can carry it from room to room with one hand. The seat is 50 cm wide and 45 cm from the floor.

The frame is solid ash. The back legs and the back rail are steamed and bent in one piece, then stained black with a water-based stain and sealed with a matt finish. The grain stays visible through the stain. Each seat is woven by hand from three-ply paper cord and takes about 90 minutes.

The same chair comes in natural ash. The two finishes can be mixed at one table, and eight chairs fit around the Brink dining table.

Care

Wipe the frame with a dry or slightly damp cloth.

Brush dust from the paper cord with a soft brush and keep the chair away from radiators.

If the cord slackens after years of use, we re-weave a seat for €60.
