The Ledger is three bays of open shelves, each 80 cm wide with four shelves. The depth is 35 cm, enough for box files and large books. Each shelf holds up to 30 kg.
Everything is solid oak. The uprights have rows of holes every 3 cm, and each shelf sits on four oak pegs, so you can move a shelf by moving its pegs. Each shelf is glued from three boards and planed to 28 mm.
The three bays bolt together. Fix the top of the unit to the wall with the brackets supplied, which keeps it safe in homes with children.
