The Lund armchair has a solid oak frame with open sides and a deep, padded seat and back in oat bouclé. It is 74 cm wide, so it fits beside a sofa or in a bay window. The seat is 40 cm from the floor, a low height for reading with your feet tucked up.
We cut the frame from solid oak and join the arms and legs with glued and pegged joints, so no metal holds the frame together. The oak is finished with a clear hard-wax oil. The cushions are foam wrapped in wool batting, covered in a looped yarn woven from wool and cotton.
