The Lumen is a small table lamp, 28 cm tall and 18 cm wide. It stands on a bedside table, a shelf or a sideboard. The glass dome spreads an even light with no glare, enough to read by at arm's length.

The base is a solid brass foot, 12 cm wide and 2.5 cm thick, turned from one bar and brushed by hand. It weighs 2.4 kg, so the lamp stays upright if someone catches the cable. The dome is opal glass, blown into a mould in Sweden.

The lamp takes one E14 bulb, up to 5 W LED, which is not included. A bulb in 2700 K warm white suits the glass. The cable is 180 cm long and has a switch on it.

Care

Switch off and let the bulb cool before you clean the lamp.

Wipe the glass with a soft, damp cloth and keep glass spray off the brass.

The brass darkens slowly with use, which is normal. Polish it with a soft cloth if you prefer it bright.
