Ledge wall shelf

The Ledge is a single oak shelf, 90 cm wide, 20 cm deep and 5 cm high. It holds up to 15 kg, which is about 40 paperbacks or a row of framed prints. Hang it above a bench, a desk or a sideboard.

The board is solid oak, 35 mm thick. A lip, 15 mm high, runs along the back edge, so frames stay put and small things cannot slip behind the shelf.

Two steel bars, 12 mm thick, screw to the wall and slide into slots in the back of the shelf, so no bracket shows. Screws, plugs for brick and concrete, and a drilling template come in the box. Plasterboard walls need fixings rated for 15 kg.
